Mike Michalik, Co-Founder and CEO

Mike Michalik, bringing 16 years of global management experience to Cirrhus 9, is responsible for building the company into a leader in the cloud computing business solutions service market and setting the vision for future growth.
Formerly at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Senior Adviser in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence division, Michalik designed and ran an extensive R&D ‘data warehouse.’ It enabled the company’s approximately 10,000 scientists to quickly migrate data through the entire database, hence making it possible to instantly share all research and information companywide.
Mike began his career building crude computer boards and SCO Unix boxes out of necessity. He is a lifelong surfer, and when not tending to corporate and family responsibilities, can still be found out on the Pacific.
Paul Laskin, Co-founder and CIO

Paul Laskin integrates an expertise in technology, life sciences, and liberal arts with corporate IT management to deliver cloud computing-based business solutions to company clients.
Previously, Mr. Laskin served as IT Director at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for managing corporate infrastructure. It was here he had the idea of leveraging the power of cloud computing, setting up an environment where the company’s approximately10,000 research scientists could launch a server on demand within minutes, a process that previously took them up to six months. It wasn’t long before Laskin realized that offering on-demand compute and storage paired with critical applications could transform IT resource management, and with this in mind, he joined Mike Michalik to found Cirrhus9.
Paul’s interest in technology began when he was very young, his fascination with electrical engineering prompting him to rewire his family’s circa 1956 TV. He still remembers the ensuing burns on his fingers.
