Extending our AppLogic knowledge
So, for the past week, I've been attending a intensive training course for 3Tera's AppLogic Cloud Computing platform - aptly named the "3Tera / AppLogic Boot Camp". We're partners with 3Tera now but, this will allow us to become certified on AppLogic, once the final test(s) are taken in a few weeks.
We've been working with 3Tera since October of 2008. It's a GREAT product that enables Cloud Computing in a very unique way, from an SI point of view. I thought I knew AppLogic pretty well but, I was exposed to some intensive information and knowledge that really can only come from a course like this. In-depth tips, tricks and how-to's taught by the people who created the platform, not just some random training company.
Skyler, Peter and Jeremy did an awesome job explaining in detail the how's and why's of the inner workings of AppLogic. When it came time to review application deployment, their material was over the top and even though we here at Cirrhus9 have deployed applications in AppLogic in the past, I learned some really cool new things, not to mention the "proper" way of doing certain deployments :) (let's be honest, we all use our own shortcut's to get things done)
