Our January 14th meeting with Werner Vogels was a great success! Dr. Vogels kept the conversation going for almost 2 1/2 hours and the members of the audience were intrigued with everything he had to say. You can read all about it in the last two posts by Paul Laksin.
Last Friday, we here at Cirrhus9 were asked if we could accomodate another Amazon Tech Evangelist here in San Diego. To which we said "Of Course!".
Starting at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 4th, Jinesh Varia from AWS will be heading up a discussion entitled "Use cases of bio-pharmaceutical applications within the amazon cloud" at the Pfizer La Jolla Campus.
As a Tech Evangelist at Amazon, Jinesh Varia helps businesses understand how they can take advantage of disruptive technologies that are going to change the way we all think about computer applications, and the way businesses compete in the new web world.
We will cover use cases and topics of actuall implementations in the biotech, pharmacuetical and medical industries and how Cirrhus9 can help businesses implement these solutions, among other things.
