C9 Administration of Your Cloud
Cirrhus9 announces a cost effective administration of your cloud environment At least one of you out there has asked whether C9 would be willing to support your own AWS environment. After Mike and Paul arm wrestled for hours, the decision was an absolutely "Why not?". So, today (or some day earlier then today) we are happy to announce that "Yes, we will administer your EC2 and S3 instance".
Here are the details:
You must have your own AWS account.
You (or we for an additional fee) have configured your EC2 and S3 environment to your liking.
Cirrhus9 will use your AWS account to manage your environment for the low monthly fee of $30 / month.
What do you get for that?
Web monitoring with a web site and log in account where you can take a look at up / down time.
Basic Backups - Daily incremental and weekly full backup of your environment. Other backup services are available.
Patching of the base AMI as needed.
